Terms of Use and Licensing

DesignShots is an independent catalog of screenshots of publicly available interfaces, built as a reference for designers and product managers. The project is not affiliated with the companies whose products are shown and does not represent them.

Content ownership

All screenshots, logos, trademarks and interface elements belong to the owners of the respective products. Frames were captured from pages publicly accessible at capture time and are published for reference purposes as documentation of the interface state.

What is allowed

• browsing the galleries and using filters, collections and comparison;
• using individual frames as a design reference and in internal discussions;
• linking to project and section pages of the catalog.

What is not allowed

• bulk automated downloading of the catalog or its parts;
• republishing galleries and selections on other sites and services;
• using screenshots in advertising or product promotion without the owner's consent;
• presenting the catalog as an official resource of the products shown.

Removal requests

A product owner (or their representative) can request the removal of pages or individual frames — via GitHub Issues. Such requests are acted upon: a number of projects have already been unpublished after a frame-ownership review.

Changes to these terms

The terms may be updated; the current version always lives on this page. They do not replace applicable law and do not limit the rights of content owners.
